So it's ok to sterilize an overgrown population of animals so that they can have a smaller animal group in the future. However hunting to achieve the same goals is considered barbaric? Personally I think sterilizing the poor creatures is worse. I don't understand why not relocate the Koalas into areas where their numbers have declined due to predation by dogs and just get rid of the dogs. Win win.
