Evolution has come up with some pretty amazing ways to get things done when it comes to animals, plants and microbes. Actually, there is animal that would run faster than cheetah if it would be the same size. Tiger beetle can make 120 body lengths per second, its like a human running 480mph. It is so fast it goes blind while running.

1. What you said about hyenas is also true of vultures.
2. The swift can sleep while flying, while the albatross can fly for 2 years without landing
3. Sharks can smell a single molecule of blood in an Olympic-sized swimming pool of water. They can also use their electric sense to feel the heartbeat of their prey. It's strongest in hammerhead sharks.
4. Sea cucumbers can spew their intestines out at predators and regrow them a few days later.
5. Snakes smell using their tongues. Since those are forked, they can smell "in stereo"
