#1 sounds like lo-fi source material for Boards of Canada's music. #2 is very reminiscent of early-90's ambient music. I like them both.
The second opening is the one I remember seeing the most as a kid, but the third one is the one I like the most. That fanfare theme has always stuck in my head, especially the extended version that plays during the credits.
