A friend of mine was patrolling South of the DMZ. A river was near the DMZ, it was a regular fording place where new NVA units were coming South! They came upon a scene of horror. 300-500 NVA fng's burnt to crispy critters! Another friend was Marine Recon, he would mess with the NVA in 3 man teams! One time he would go to an NVA bivouac site under the jungle canopy! He would place an old Playboy magazine in the center of the bivouac clearing and surround the clearing with Claymore mines! The young NVA would all bunch together to see the pictures of naked white women! When the were packed he would set off the claymores! They would finish off the wounded and living!

But at river crossings they would wait night and day ready to call in napalm or bombing runs. The fu**ing new guys would be caught out in the open, napalmed and strafed by Vietnamese or US air assets! It would always be a wipe out! The NVA never buried their dead, they would rot out in the open and be a reminder for more fng's coming down the Ho Chi Minh trail! Jungle rats at the juicy parts big 8 lb. rats! The NVA never told lived parents of their son's deaths! Year and years later they just learned to pray to lost family! Vietnam is full of millions of hungry ghosts!
