Beautiful Finland’s nature in Autumn & a song by Finnish folk music group “Kardemimmit” (members:Maija Pokela, Jutta Rahmel, Anna Wegelius and Leeni Wegelius) accompanied by Baltic psaltery (kantele). The music of Kardemimmit is fresh but it’s strongly foundationed in Finnish tradition from both Eastern and Western regions featuring e.g. reki-style of singing, Perhonjoki valley kantele style, Karelian small kantele and runo-song traditions as well as archaic improvisation. TRANSLATION OF THE LYRICS:
When I looked through the glass
I saw my old sweetheart
That’s what made me think
He was mine before
I’d sleep with my darling
Till the eating time
Hands were on the neck
Mouth was against mouth
LYRICS:

Mie näin vanhan kultani
Siit vast johtu mieleheni
Tuo ol ennen mulla
Mie makaisin kultain kanssa
Murkinoihin asti
Käet oli kaulassa ja
Suu ol suuta vasten ja
